Sea of Love

"hey pammy baybe.. so this is how im actualy goina say by to you... i left the house tonight and instantly i missed you.. like for real.. to be honest i like you sooo much ur such a good person pam.. coming back and meeting you for real was the best thing that could have hapend... u mean alot to me ... more than alot of ppl .. i always new that if i need'd someone i can count on you.. and im glad. love you pam !!!!!!"

I found this message looking through some really old emails. This friendship feels like light years ago. Although this friend and I don't actually talk anymore, my heart did a little flutter once I read this gem (even though his spelling mistakes & poor grammar is sort of atrocious).

I've had so many friends come and go, and I used to be sad over how fleeting relationships with people can be. In hindsight, I've realized that my relationships with others are meant to be transitory so there will be enough room for the next person to come in and inspire me (because you guys actually do that to me). Reading a message such as this is really gratifying to know that I can have a positive impact on others, because in all honesty that's the biggest compliment you can give me. It just makes me want to spread copious amounts of love even more!

This blog post is not only a homage to this old friend (if he's ever to read this & figure out it was him that wrote that), but also to all the people that I've had the opportunity to be acquainted with. Each and every single one of you mean more to me than you will ever know. And if you do want to know, go ahead and schedule a date with me so I can tell you exactly how I really feel about you. I realize how sappy I am being but I can't help that I'm one of the gushiest people I know.

p.s. I'm going to Ottawa this weekend to make new friendships while solidifying existing ones.

Yours,

P. xo.
